To B Corp or not to B Corp?
Wondering if B Corp is right for you?
The first step is to truly understand what B Corp is. Spoiler, B Corp is not a quick fix.
Let’s have a conflab and I’ll explain how it works. And, crucially, we’ll explore what it would (and would not) bring to your business.
I’ll give you a realistic critique of B Corp’s pros & cons, including an honest view of its reputation and a heads-up on changes that lie ahead.
Navigating the B Impact Assessment
B Lab's new Standards (V2.1) are a rigorous, requirements-based framework, and a significant step up from the previous BIA model.
Rather than scoring 80+ points, you must now meet mandatory requirements across seven Impact Topics, including Climate Action, Fair Work, and Human Rights.
I'll guide you through each Foundation Requirement and Impact Topic, supporting you with policy reviews, evidence frameworks, and practical tools to build a compelling, compliant submission.
If you've already started working toward certification and aren't sure where you stand, I can carry out a gap assessment to identify shortfalls and map a clear roadmap to meet the new standards.
FAQs
-
The short answer is 9-12 months.
The long (and more honest) answer is that this process is complex and different for each business. If we work together we’ll map out a timeline before you invest.

B Corp fees are on a sliding scale, and so are mine. Click here to see full pricing details.
Important things to note are:
B Lab UK have frozen pricing for 2026. Currently they charge:
One-off submission fee on a sliding scale starting at £200 (+ VAT).
One-off verification fee (on a sliding scale).
Annual certification fee (on a sliding scale starting at £1000). You have to pay this every year.
You can use B Lab’s fee calculator here.
If we work together, I’ll crunch the numbers for you before you begin, so you understand the costs involved.

If it’s just the B Corp logo you’re after then you’ll find the investment of time and money overwhelming.
If you are in it for the journey; if you want to grow your purpose-driven business, learn how to measure your triple bottom line and want to be part of a strong movement for change, then it’s a total bargain.
You’ll find the process will give back in many ways, but in particular, it will feed your marketing with valuable content. I often tell clients to draw their B Corp spend from their marketing budget because that’s where you’ll see clear ROI.
